When we stayed at our apartment last year (2017) we noticed a new development had begun on the same line as Compass apartments. The Dinevi Group has now put the details of it on their website. It looks pretty impressive so we’re very much looking forward to seeing it completed when we go this year. Phoenix Apartments

Life in St Vlas
Welcome to StVlasLife, where I'm keeping a diary of our time in Bulgaria. Any questions, just ask in the comments!
Hi we are staying at the compass complex this June we fly with our 3 children, 10,8,1 on the 2nd of June for 2 weeks, do you know much about these apartments? is there things about for our children to do? What’s the weather usually like in June time? id appreciate if you could email me as I am a nervous first timer in sveti vlas xxx
Hi Natalie.
I will gladly email you to tell you about Compass apartments and will also post my response on here in case it’s of interest to anyone else.
Compass apartments is a small complex mid-way between the beaches/marina and the village centre of Sveti Vlas. It has a beautiful swimming pool including a child’s paddling area (perfect for your little ones) set in lovely landscaped gardens. Some of the apartments enjoy a sea view. The restaurant to the complex serves a good range of food and drinks, all reasonably priced.
If you decide to venture away from Compass and walk down to the beaches and marina (which only takes 5-10 minutes) there’s a children’s play/exercise area on the way down. There’s also lots of activities down on the beaches so you’re sure to have some fun there and maybe book a trip on the pirate ship “Black Sam”. There’s an ampitheatre close to the Church where there’s often activities for children too.
Make sure you have a stroll around the village too where you’ll find lots of shops to browse around as well as many restaurants to eat in or just to have a drink. There’s also ice cream stalls/fast food places etc. and in the village square there’s usually some little stalls with things for children to do.
You’ll be going at one of the best times of the year in my opinion. June is one of the ideal times to go to Bulgaria as it’s not too hot.
I hope you all have a wonderful time – I’m sure you will. Have a good look around my blog in case you find some useful info before you go.
