If you look to the right of the above photo you’ll see some free-standing plaques (15 in total).  They wind around the edge of the square. They signify famous Bulgarian people and there’s some information about the person on each one.  It’s quite interesting – although takes quite a bit of time to read each one.  Hopefully, my photos will give you a bit of a taster to have a look …
