Any idea what would be a reasonable monthly budget to stay in St vlas year-round excluding accommodation?

Hi Dan. Um – that’s quite a hard question to answer. A lot depends on how much you spend on food and drink, whether you like to eat at home or, if you’re anything like me, would rather treat yourself and dine out with a nice cold beer or bottle of wine?! Many of the bars and restaurants are so reasonably priced, sometimes it doesn’t cost much more than staying at home. Also, if the weather turns cold you’ll probably use more electricity for heating etc. which would increase your budget and then there’s water charges. Suffice to say though it’s very likely that it won’t cost as much as staying in the UK and, let’s face it, it will probably be more fun!
